Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week made its debut in the national arts scene, with about 14,000 attendees descending upon WestWorld of Scottsdale.
The four-day celebration, which was held this past March, welcomed some 100 galleries comprising 120 booths from nine countries and showcased historic, contemporary, Western, and Indigenous art through a series of gallery exhibitions, fashion shows, and immersive installations, according to a press release.
Among the many galleries reporting strong sales and steady foot traffic were Melissa Morgan Fine Art, out of Palm Desert, California, and the Casterline | Goodman Gallery out of Aspen, Colorado.
The Tanya Weddemire Gallery from Brooklyn, New York, also had a highly successful sales weekend, event organizers tell the Digital Free Press, as did Scottsdale’s own Larsen Gallery, which was one of many local ones participating in the event.
“Our goal was to create a high-caliber art experience celebrating both incredible art and the broader culture that surrounds it,” said Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week co-owner Trey Brennen. “After seeing the energy inside the venue and the volume and quality of the works sold, I think it’s safe to say we created something with staying power.”
Tanya Weddemire, the founder and CEO of the Tanya Weddemire Gallery, echoed these sentiments while expressing plans to return to Scottsdale in 2026.
“Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week was an unforgettable experience in participating in their inaugural show,” Ms. Weddemire said.
“It was an honor to showcase the works of Guy Stanley Philoche, King Saladeen, and Gregory Saint Amand in this dynamic new market. With one sold-out artist and sales across all three, we connected with incredible new collectors and felt the energy of a truly vibrant event. The warmth, excitement,t and support were unmatched, and we can’t wait to return next year.”
